Internal rate of return
Find the unique nonnegative IRR for one initial outflow followed by nonnegative inflows; periodic, not annualized. Estimate only; verify assumptions, fees and taxes.
The tool searches for the rate that makes the discounted cash-flow sum zero. With an initial flow of −100 followed one period later by 110, the result is a 10% periodic internal rate of return.
